Also when digging on islands you will find double the fruit, double the lost animals and double the gems!

Q: How can I get gems?

A: Gems can be obtained in a couple ways. The first is by asking your friends for them by posting a request to your wall. The second is by random while you are digging for treasures. The third is by collecting them from peoples islands. To find out which treasure they have look at the bar at the bottom displaying all of your friends (see picture), at the bottom left a gem is displayed and that is the kind of gem that person grows on their island.
